Come to the City Council meeting (Feb 19)and please voice your appreciation to those who participate in this athletic sport!

Join the volunteers who have been working for the past 13 months on making this skatepark a reality and help get approval from the city planning commission and the city council members to construct the skatepark in Georke Park- (where visibility and accessibility are the best for location purposes). Your support really does matter. Visit the stevens point - parks dept. website for more information about the skatepark committee's work and the need for this project in our community.

 

The council chambers are in the second floor of City Hall. Enter via the front doors and take the stairway up.

 

If you cannot attend, please consider writing a letter to the newspaper editor, the Stevens Point City Council, or to your specific city council representative.
